Important update on COVID-19
The Ontario government recently announced that first aid providers in certain regions will be included in phase two of reopening the province, and have permission to reopen and resume in-class first aid training. We are working closely with all of our first aid providers and have developed resources and protocols to ensure that we can safely restart in-person training as soon as possible. While in-person training is now being permitted, we encourage providers to continue delivering blended training where it is possible to do so. We are also encouraging our first aid providers to prioritize access to people and organizations working in front line, essential services.We are also extending recertification and certification until Dec 31, 2020.
Intermediate First Aid & CPR/AED (Adult/Child/Infant)
Comprehensive Workplace First Aid Training
Intermediate First Aid & CPR/AED provides comprehensive emergency response training for individuals who may be required to respond to a wide range of workplace injuries and medical emergencies.
Employer Requirements:

Any employer with more than 5 employees on any shift

Ensure that personnel in charge of a First Aid station

Hold a valid Standard First-Aid Certificate
Location:

On-site for the convenience of any client (10 student minimum)

Ounce of Prevention Safety Services training location
Topics Include:
• Patient assessment and ongoing care
• CPR and AED
• Severe bleeding control
• Head, neck, and spinal injuries
• Bone, muscle, and joint injuries
• Chest and abdominal injuries
• Burns and environmental emergencies
• Asthma and diabetic emergencies
• Allergic reactions and anaphylaxis
• Multiple casualty incidents
Program Length: 2 Days (16 Hours)
