Basic First Aid & CPR/AED (Adult/Child/Infant) - Onsite Training

 

Essential Life-Saving Skills for Work and Everyday Life​

The Basic First-Aid & CPR program meets all the requirements Board. This 8-hours program applies to all employers who are covered by the Workplace Safety & Insurance Act who are obligated to provide First Aid training, equipment, facilities and trained personnel in all workplaces.

Employer Requirements:

• Any employer with more than 5 employees on any shift

• Ensure that personnel in charge of a First Aid station

• Hold a valid Intermediate First-Aid Certificate

 

Location:

• On-site for the convenience of any client (10 student minimum)

• Ounce of Prevention Safety Services training location

• Emergency scene assessment
• Legal considerations and consent
• Adult, child, and infant CPR
• AED use
• Choking emergencies
• Severe bleeding control
• Shock management
• Heart attack and stroke response
• Seizures
• Diabetic emergencies
• Wound care and bandaging
